Proof of Age, I.D. Evidence

There are three types of evidence that should be used to justify a sale of cigarettes or tobacco.

Passport:

Check that the photograph matches that of the customer,
just because it is being offer does not make it necessarily
the customers. If it is the customer’s check the date of
birth means that they are 18 or older.

Photo Driving Licence:

Use as with a passport.

CitizenCard or other PASS Proof of Age Cards

Only accept Proof of Age Cards that have the
PASS Hologram embossed on to them.
Use as with a passport or Photo Driving Licence.
